The information you provide in this Preliminary Background Application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of City of Los Santos Police Officer, in accordance with San Andreas POST Commission Regulation 1953.

Disqualification

There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail” background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

    • I used to be in the LSPD somewhere in the 2014-2015 era. Despite my IC info of being in the LSPD for about 3 years, it's closer to 1 year of actual time. I didn't just quit the LSPD or LS-RP, but I quit SA:MP as a whole because I moved from Sweden to the US for studies. I never came back to SA:MP after that time, until now.

  Raymond was born on the third of July 1992 into a relatively quiet family in the heart of Los Santos, Glen Park. At a young age Raymond showed intrest in sports, which caused his parents to sign him up for multiple extracurricular activities which would end up taking up most of his time. This would strain his relationship with his parents as there was rarely time left in his day to spend time with his friends from the neighborhood.
  
  The years passed and Raymond had just finished his diploma from the local community college and decided to take a break from his studies by getting a temporary job with the local Verizon office, it's something that he was very good at and was quickly promoted into an account manager position within the company. There was still something missing in Raymonds life as he always wanted to move forward, and being stuck in an office every day was not scratching the itch that he had.
  
  One day sitting in the office while working on a presentation for a client he got an advertisement for the Los Santos Police Department, he curiously followed the advertisement to their webpage and decided to apply out of the blue just for kicks, not expecting to hear back from them. Only a few days had passed when Raymond got a call from the recruitment office, and Raymond did not hesitate.
  
  Tragedy struck for Raymond and his mother when his father passed away suddenly. This was especially hard on Raymond becuase he barely had a relationship with his father. This brought Raymond closer to his mother, and when she sold her house in Glen Park and moved to the east coast, Raymond quit the force and followed her there, getting a job as a recruiter for AT&T.
  
  As time went on it became clear for everyone around Raymond that he was unhappy with his current situation. He was back into old habits of a boring office job, so Raymonds mother and his now girlfriend Kathrine pushed for him to make a change, to move back to his hometown of Los Santos and continue living his life there. Raymond spent the next few months getting his affairs in order and selling his apartment and getting the plane tickets ready to move back home.
