Los Santos:
On May 30, 2025, at approximately 0:15 a.m., deputies for the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department responded to a call regarding a reported shootout in the area of Lafayette Avenue and Highland Avenue.

Upon arrival, deputies observed an adult male lying in the roadway suffering from multiple apparent gunshot wounds. A rescue ambulance was requested immediately. Deputies rendered life-saving measures until the arrival of Los Santos Fire Department paramedics. The male, later identified as Deshawn Wolf, was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medical personnel.

A firearm was located near a second male, who was identified as an off-duty Los Santos Police Department officer. Initial investigation revealed that the off-duty officer discharged his firearm after reportedly observing an armed suspect engage in a shooting. The officer remained at the scene and cooperated with responding deputies. The involved firearm was recovered and secured in evidence.

Witness statements indicated that the incident stemmed from a physical altercation between two males, which escalated into gunfire. The suspect was described as a shirtless Hispanic male wearing black pants and a yellow bandana.

Reports from the incident have been forwarded to the Force Investigation Section (FIS) who are now investigating.
