The information you provide in this Preliminary Background Application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of City of Los Santos Police Officer, in accordance with San Andreas POST Commission Regulation 1953.

Disqualification

There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail” background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

  Chloe Parker, who is 24 years old, that has faced challenging experiences in her past found herself at a crossroads after serving in the Marines for around two to three years. Despite the discipline instilled in her during her service, Chloe felt an inner calling, towards a different direction in life. Growing up in the streets of Rancho was no feat but she always held onto a vision of one day giving back to her community.
  
  Although initially facing difficulties with cyber security, Chloe pursued a bachelors degree in Computer Science at the University of Los Santos. The academic journey posed its set of challenges. She persevered with an unwavering determination fuelled by her desire to make a positive impact on the very neighbourhood that shaped her. Her decision to transition from service to academia was met with scepticism; however Chloe remained resolute in her belief that education holds transformative power.
  
  Armed with her earned degree Chloe set forth on an aspiration – becoming an esteemed Police Officer within the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD). While cyber security may not have been her area of expertise, it was Chloe's unwavering dedication and commitment, to serving her community that propelled her towards this career path.
