The information you provide in this Preliminary Background Application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of City of Los Santos Police Officer, in accordance with San Andreas POST Commission Regulation 1953.

Disqualification

There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail” background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

  Faizan Shaikh is a young and enthusiastic gentleman who wishes to fight crime from every angle and devote his life towards serving the community. He had finished school in Los Santos and joined a private security company for some time when he was young and was deployed at a-many places whilst working with them. He gained a lot of experience handling pressure, and keeping his cool in intense situations. He was known to be professional and polite and reliable for his colleagues. He always felt he could do more and something just felt missing, he wanted to help people at the front end and make a real difference. Faizan moved to the United States from Pakistan to live with his extended family in San Andreas; this has always been supposed to be a temporary settlement. He has found an abode at Sandy Shores, far from the hustles of the city. However, he has also observed that there is some unseen hand needing perhaps merely a little help, there are drugs, and there is illegal activity, and people are just so scared to speak up. He could not just sit back. He had to get into the system somehow; he had to be some people’s trust. Faizan being the community person he is wishes to do more for the people of San Andreas and help them fight crime and he has all the related experience it will take for him to be the best of the best in the field. Faizan had a deep sense of justice, and he never liked to see anybody taken advantage of or bullied. These feelings continued to strengthen after he went through his teenage years, and an experience he had with the police in relation to a close friend of his who was stabbed during a street fight. The police were efficient, and respectful, and the combination made a big impression on Faizan. You could tell that it gave him perspective on what it means when good people have a badge.
